  McClure is the only company you should consider for your plaster (stucco) or painting project. If you’re planning a home project, make sure to check with McClure first to see if they have the expertise you need. They’re not just plaster and paint experts, they can do a lot more! Our project was a breeze! We finished it in just 8 weeks, and the key to that was our awesome communication and daily walk-throughs. Imagine this: a single-story 2,450 sq.ft. home with Masonite siding that needed to be removed to the shear wall. Then, the stucco process could begin. Oh, and let me tell you about those six gables! They range from 20’ to 24’ at the peak, and there was scaffolding everywhere. But guess what? The crew was always on time, friendly, polite, considerate, and they kept in touch with us every day. Brett even did a daily walk-through and sent us texts about any changes in staffing for the next day. Now, keeping a job site clean is no easy feat, but the crew did their best to keep it tidy and let us access the house. And look at our house now! No more wood trim or siding. The soffits are enclosed, and the body is all stucco. The color matching to the gutter and downspout was spot-on. The texture, medium, is so smooth with the acrylic finish and embedded mesh, it looks amazing. The crew made seven complete passes of the house to apply all the layers, which was a lot of work, but they had a positive attitude for the whole 8 weeks. Every detail was taken care of, and we had frequent consultations to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. From foundation vents to gable vents, continuous soffit vents, extension for electrical boxes for lights and outlets, flashing for the future concrete steps, and the list goes on. McClure was the mastermind behind all the details, and we didn’t have to worry about everything being done as discussed. Our door jambs were weathered, and one door needed a lot of work, but it was done and redone without any fuss, and now it’s perfect. The painting of the exterior doors, garage rollup door, and trim is outstanding. Our gutters were removed before the project started, so we didn’t have to worry about that. There were two very difficult rakes that required some TLC, but the crew took on the challenge with awesome results. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we’re so grateful for the crew’s hard work and dedication. This project wasn’t exactly a breeze, but McClure made it a breeze and it seemed like business as usual. Oh, and by the way, McClure doesn’t use subcontractors. Most of the crew has been with the company for 15 to 35 years. That’s experience and loyalty that goes into each project. Okay, so McClure might bid a bit higher than the competition, but once you see the daily progress details put into the daily tasks, and the final results, you realize why you decided on McClure. It’s definitely worth the extra cost. You won’t be disappointed with McClure or any of the crew.
